Aside from the time being about 45 min. Later than expected, which might not seem like too long, is long when you're at the place already with no ride back, but they are always polite and apologetic when circumstances like these occur. Everyone there is great. Been there at least 3 times now, and they go into more detail which allows the people who don't know a whole lot, comprehend the issue. Love this place. Recommend it all the time.

Gabe and the crew at Fairfax auto are great. I own a 2008 Volkswagen Passat. I serious engine and transmission issues. After the repairs she was purring like kitten. We had a small issue with a tire and Gabe took the cost of the tire out of service bill. That's class! I highly recommend this garage. Professional and willing to work with you!

We needed a new transmission on our 3-year-old Ford, which was out of warranty. After getting a quote from the dealer, we went to Fairfax Auto Repair, whom we've used for years for routine maintenance on all our cars. They quoted significantly less! They completed the job and even installed a headlight and cabin air filter I'd purchased for my other car gratis! I'll continue to recommend them to friends and family.

I needed to have engine mounts replaced, after buying a used vehicle and having it inspected by a mechanic prior to purchase. I called around for estimates, and Fairfax Auto offered me the best quote. The quote was provided quickly and the staff was friendly that set up my appointment. Checking in for service was easy and I observed another customer (who appeared to be a regular client ) chatting with the staff and service advisor as if he knew them well and had his vehicle serviced there numerous times, which put my mind at ease.The best part of the whole process was receiving a call about 3 hours later. Gabe explained to me that they checked out the mounts in multiple scenarios and that they were perfectly fine. Now, another shop could have easily replaced the mounts and I would not have questioned it all. Thanks to their honesty and expertise, I was able to save a lot of money. I plan on returning there for any future needed service. As a side note, they are listed as a trusted mechanic thru USAA!Bryon C. Springfield,VA

It has been a long time since I have truly trusted an auto repair shop like I do Fairfax Auto Repair. I have a Lexus LS430 that had issues with suspension/shocks. Two different Lexus dealers diagnosed that all 4 shocks needed to be replaced for a cost of approximately $9000. I took my car to Fairfax Auto Repair to see what they would quote me. The quoted service price was much much lower (e.g., approx. 6000) and so I scheduled a service appointment. However, once they started work, they took the time to really look at what was causing the issue and it turned out to be a component/part for about 1/3 of the cost…no shocks needed. That kind of honesty could not be found at a dealership. I am extremely grateful. Honesty is good for business and I will be giving them all my business from this point forward.

The whole crew at Fairfax Auto Repair is amazing; I feeling confident that when I bring my vehicle there, I will be getting an honest evaluation, fair pricing, and most importantly, they will not try to do an unnecessary work that is not needed at the time.I plan on returning there for all my service on my foreign vehicle.
