What more could you want? When I arrived after closing time to drop off my 2004 Subaru Outback, the manager (Gabe) was locking up, but stopped t chat. He remembered exactly why I was bringing it in for service, including the fact that my college student was taking a long road trip into Mexico. I was concerned about an irregular engine noise and Gabe had me pop the hood immediately to check things with me so that he could understand what to explain to the service technician in the morning. The Fairfax Auto Repair team had the vehicle ready on time the next day, giving me peace of mind for a four-week adventure through Mexico and on to Colorado. F.A.R. has done well by me and four different vehicles for my high school and college-aged students, providing professional work and excellent attention, and standing behind everything they do.

They scheduled me during a holiday period, and fit me in when I had time. I told them about several issues I had, and they addressed each before they made the fixes, and let me know how much each would cost if they were to go through with it. They worked with my budget, and fixed what I could afford at the time. Good work. Recommended.

Had a bit of maintenance and repairs that were need for my 2006 F150. Unlike the dealerships, they broke it all down for me and gave me my options. Great customer service and great work done on my truck. She runs like a champ again 🙂

I found Fairfax Auto Repair thru USAA as a certified repair shop. Making an appointment was easy, and an estimate was given over the phone in minutes. I brought the vehicle in for service to replace engine mounts, that was recommended by another repair shop prior to buying a used vehicle. Expecting the work to take over one day, I recieved a call from the lead service advisor, Gabe, who explained that I did not need the work done after all. They had tested the mounts in numerous ways, and said that they were fine. I was grateful for two reasons: first, it saved me a lot of money, and two (and more importantly), they were honest enough to tell me that the work was not needed. They could have easily done the work as I was expecting (since another mechanic shop said it was needed), and I would not have complained or even knew. Thank you very much to Gabe and all the staff at Fairfax Auto Repair; I plan to go there for all of my future services.
