Decent service. I used a groupon and they stuck hard to the terms and conditions (I.e., I bought two synthetic oil changes, both must be used on the same car, bummer since I have two vehicles that both require synthetic and need to be changed. Includes a paper filter, what car uses a paper filter? Just small stuff like that. I understand sticking to the terms, but you would think if they were trying to win business with this groupon and keep customers from going elsewhere, they would bend some rules so their customer service would stand out. The manager sat in his office the whole time, never came out to talk to anyone. They could use a little more personalized customer service, especially with their terrible location. The lady at the front desk was nice, her second day on the job. The manager could use some work with his customer service. Why would I want to come back? Decent service overall. They did a good job, kept the car clean, changed the oil, rotated the tires. No reason to bash them, but also no reason to feel like they deserve repeat business. Just my two cents.

This was my 3rd time here. Started going bc of a groupon deal. Staff was so friendly and flexible I decided to keep going after the groupon was used up. Prices are also low compared to other places I've been and no scams on buying something you don't need is a plus. Keep up the good work.

I first used FFX Auto Repair after purchasing a coupon for two oil changes. The initial work was performed quickly and efficiently and the staff was excellent. Since then I have brought my car back for routine service and once for significant repair. Both the work and the customer service I receive each time has been unbeatable. I look forward to my next major automotive mechanical failure! ... OK... just kidding about that, but I do know where I'll take my car.

Very small operation, hard to find place. Really only 1 person who answers the phone, but they run a tight shift. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and customer centric. Well earned reviews. Probably the most competitive quotes in Fairfax.I had my car towed there as the clutch fluid hose broke on me in the middle of traffic. They were able to replace the part in a day, no hassles. There was an issue with getting the car into gear when I picked up the car. The manual shift lever just would not go into any gear. They re-bled the clutch lines, and got it semi-working. On the spot they kind of suggested a clutch replacement but they didn't really have time to re-diagnose the car. I took the car home, but some time later, the problem turned out to be a bad clutch slave cylinder. I replaced this part myself, but it wasn't anything Fairfax Auto did wrong. Still a positive customer experience.

Honestly, one of the best experiences I've had at a shop. Very friendly and professional. Peter discussed every step with me and they were able to quickly fix my truck and have it ready the next day. I highly recommend Fairfax Auto Repair.

Outstanding customer service and even better auto service. I hate taking my car to the mechanic, mainly because I think they are all out to rip you off... Not this place. Probably the most honest auto shop around. Rebecca was great, doesn't try to sell you on stuff you don't need, cuts right to the chase and is very honest. She could've taken me for hundreds, maybe thousands more than what they charged me. They serviced my A/C and fixed everything up for $500 less than what the dealership quoted me. I'll be taking both of our cars to Fairfax Auto Repair from here on out, for everything. This place is awesome.Agree with the other reviews. They are not always the fastest, but hey sure are worth the wait.
