Fairfax Auto repair is by far the best service center in the area. The staff are friendly and professional and provide an honest assessment of repairs that are needed. I took my current car here for a pre-purchase inspection, and was happy with the level of detailed inspection they provided which allowed for a bit of negotiation with the dealer.

Wonder workers. Able to diagnose and repair almost anything. Saved us thousands compared to dealers or chain stores. But not always speedy - first come first served and limited parking are factors to consider. But the staff will do their best to exceed your needs. Almost hesitate to share this gem - will become too crowded - but they deserve the increased business.

A local Jaguar dealer caused a problem with my car, and then charged me three times when attempting to fix the problem. I was charged thousands of dollars, but the dealer never fixed the problem. Based mainly on Angie's List reviews, I took the car to Fairfax Auto Repair. They fixed the car for less than $250. What a relief!

Wonderful service. I won't have my car serviced by anyone else.Two quick comments:*. I needed to clean grease from the seat, stealing wheel, gear shifter, and door handle on the drivers side after I picked up the car.*, I was promised a quote for new tires which I did not receive. Small potatoes in an otherwise excellent experience.

Working with the fine folks at Fairfax Auto has been nothing short of a delight. I've been in twice for routing maintenance and both times the staff was friendly and the prices fair. I'll be returning soon for a short follow-up on an aftermarket tire mounting and balance which was included in the original labor cost.

I found this place through google offers 2 oil change deal. Great find!!Let's review the oil change first, they're very easy to book an appointment, Rebecca is extremely nice and easy to work with over the phone. When I first came, I had a Toyota, however half way through the year, I traded in my car for my Mini. I explained to Rebecca about my situation and they kindly let me use my second oil change on my new car. That was fantastic. After I got my second oil change, I started noticing noises from my engine, I brought the car back in for a check up, Sean, checked it out and told me what the problem was and he said also the damage could be worse (timing chain replacement), but he said he'll have to open it up to make sure. So he quoted me the smaller repair and the whole timing chain repair, the price is about five times the difference. I was just shocked by the difference (lesson #1 don't wait on the repair, because that would just end up a lot more.) I brought the car in anyway, they called me during the to let me know that it's the smaller repair and no timing chain replacement needed (huge relief!) I know other repair shop would have charge me a brand new timing chain even when none was needed, they charged me for their honest work and nothing more. For this, they have earned me as a loyal customer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an European car repair shop!!

I am very satisfied with the service and communication at Fairfax Auto repairs. I brought in the old family Toyota sedan for evaluation as possible high school transportation.I explained to Rebecca that I would invest some money in repairs if it looked like the car would provide decent and reliable transportation. After evaluation and some calls from Rebecca we had the repairs done and the vehicle has worked fine. I appreciated the accurate advice from Fairfax Auto about the cost benefit of repairs.I find the folks at Fairfax Auto honest and skilled at repairs and maintenance.
