Rebecca and Luis are wonderful to work with and the most honest in the business. Our quote to fix my wifes 2000 Inifiniti G20 car was $2900 from the dealer. That was for power steering hoses, "frozen" rear brake calipers, and 2 new CV boots. I was furious as I knew that they were totally trying to rip my wife off. Rebecca and Luis took a look at the estimate, looked over the car, and fixed it the right way. The total repair bill came to less than $750 and it was fixed same day. That included 1 new power steering hose (not two like the dealer said we needed) and 2 new CV boots. I will only take my cars to Rebecca and Luis at Fairfax Auto repair from now on!!

I have a son in college at GMU, driving a 1995 Mazda 626 (162k mileage) that recently required repair again. Had AAA tow to Fairfax Auto to confirm what repairs were needed (prior to Fairfax Auto Repair vehicle was analyzed at Merchants for $1200.00 estimate to repair). Luis did exactly what he said he would do (being I was conducting all my requests via phone-long distance) was very attentive to my concerns and assured me what was needed and the cost. I realized this was a less expensive repair but unfortunately could not afford to repair this vehicle at this time. I do know that the service I received was above and beyond what I have dealt with in Fairfax on prior occassions and I know I have found the "right" repair shop. It is refreshing to know there are still people who want to do the best job they can. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for their time, patience and exceptional service.

Found this shop on Google, service was great. Prompt, professional, and helped make sure my work was covered by the extended warranty I had purchased. I would recommend them as honest and fair as well.

I took my '04 Audi S4 in for a window regulator repair and during Luis' routine vehicle inspection he found my front suspension needed new links so Luis gave me a call and I had him fix that also. They kept me updated every step of the way and when it was time to pick up the car, I rode the metro to Vienna and since I had already paid for the service over the phone, Rebecca was at the metro to drop off my car and Luis was following to pick her up. Made me feel a bit like a movie star. I'll definitely will be using them the next time I need my vehicle service.- John

I brought my car to Fairfax Auto with the expectation that I might have to replace the entire suspension system. Rebecca and Luis both explained exactly what might be wrong with the car and what each of those possibilities would mean repair-wise. They kept me updated during the ridiculously short time they took to fix it, and charged me $230 when they could have taken me to the cleaners. I have never encountered such honesty, professionalism, and helpful service in any other business setting. Thank you!

I've been coming to Luis and Rebecca's shop for a little over a year now and I cannot say enough about them and their business. I live in Alexandria, 16 miles (one way) from their shop, and I wouldn't even consider going to another place for any of my work. They are friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and really care about doing the right thing for their customers. Everyone is treated like a friend, and they make sure everything is fixed properly when you get your car back. Even if you just come by for a quick oil change, they will look over your car to make sure everything is in good condition and warn you about any upcoming services/repair you may need - but only if you need them! Their prices are definitely fair and their turnaround time has been excellent. There have been a number of times where I have unexpectedly needed work performed or asked to come in on short notice - Rebecca and Luis always make time for me, even on a Friday night! Yesterday after they finished working on my car at 5pm, my battery died in their parking lot! They quickly made some calls to see which option would be the cheapest for me (getting a battery through them or getting it covered under my warranty). I decided to get a battery through them, so they called their battery vendor who had it delivered within 15 minutes (I kid you not), and within 30 minutes of finding it dead, my new battery was in and my car was running again! That alone should give people a reason to come here. Believe me, you WILL NOT REGRET taking your car, whatever year, make, or model, to Rebecca and Luis (and Sean) at Fairfax Auto Repair.And if you need another reason, 30 5-star reviews as of this writing can't be wrong 🙂

Quoted me $130 but only charged $90 because it didn't take as long as he expected. Great service, good quality, and definitely trustworthy.Good place to take a car for a pre-purchase evaluation.

I live on the other side of Fairfax so getting to this repair shop is a drive down 66, but it is so worth it. I own a 23 year old Italian car that is a very unique make and model - probably not worth too much at this point but to me it's an absolute joy to drive and I want to keep it going as long as possible. I found Rebecca and Luis' shop through Google reviews and have now taken my car to them twice - the first time for an oil change (my car is a little on the delicate side. . .Jiffy Lube just didn't sound like a great idea) and the second time for an electrical issue. Sure, with a car this old, they've spotted some other small things with my car, but my costs have been low and I've really appreciated their attention to detail and ability to keep an eye out for what's going on with the car as a whole, not just what I'm bringing it there for. Fantastic place - and in this era of franchising and oversized corporations, it's amazing to find a small business like this that's just so good at what they do.
