I found Fairfax Auto Repair thru USAA as a certified repair shop. Making an appointment was easy, and an estimate was given over the phone in minutes. I brought the vehicle in for service to replace engine mounts, that was recommended by another repair shop prior to buying a used vehicle. Expecting the work to take over one day, I recieved a call from the lead service advisor, Gabe, who explained that I did not need the work done after all. They had tested the mounts in numerous ways, and said that they were fine. I was grateful for two reasons: first, it saved me a lot of money, and two (and more importantly), they were honest enough to tell me that the work was not needed. They could have easily done the work as I was expecting (since another mechanic shop said it was needed), and I would not have complained or even knew. Thank you very much to Gabe and all the staff at Fairfax Auto Repair; I plan to go there for all of my future services.
