Like so many others in these reviews, I found this shop online and decided to give them a try after seeing the overwhelming number of positive reviews. My daughter was home for a short break from college and had an ongoing issue with her steering column ignition switch in her ’08 Ford Focus. I’m pretty handy with a lot of car repair issues, but this was something I wasn’t comfortable trying to fix on my own. I’ve also been skeptical in the past at some repair shops with mechanics trying to fix or replace parts on my cars that were not necessary. My experience at Fairfax Auto was excellent. They fixed the ignition issue and noted some other legitimate concerns, which I decided to take care of on my own later. Peter and O.J. were courteous, professional and very friendly. I would not hesitate to return to their shop in future.
