We found Fairfax Auto Repair through Angie’s List. They’re on Angie’s List 2010 Service Award Page and a nominee for the Pages of Happiness. My husband’s baby, a 1990 CRX, needed to have a new axel. This is not an easy job. We contacted 3 different auto shops and a dealer to get estimates. Two of them the other shops were also highly rated on Angie’s List, but didn’t bother to give an estimate. They just said no. Rebecca from Fairfax Auto Repair gave us a precise estimate and let us know all our options. It was over $1000 less then the dealer for the same work. We had the work done and drove away happy. Now comes the reason why I’m giving 5 stars instead of 4…After a couple months, the gasket in the axel started to leak. We called Fairfax Auto repair and I expected a song and dance. Rebecca just said, “Bring it in!” We brought it in and they fixed it. No excuses. No “but we need money for this extra part”. They fixed it, and thanked us for giving them the opportunity to fix the problem. That’s someone who takes pride in their work.Since this time, we have brought all our cars there. My husband’s CRX is now not only his baby, but Rebecca and Louis’s too. My baby, a 2000 CR-V, gets all it’s service done there as well as our 2005 Nissan Armada. I’ve been extremely pleased with their service. Yes, they are busy and you have to make an appointment or agree to leave it over night, but its worth it.
